BUILDING BRIDGES WITH EMPATHY — GALLERY
A week story
Challenges/problems young people face regarding aggression, lack of tolerance, lack of understanding, bullying, online aggression and bullying, social exclusion, lack of awareness on differences between people and their feelings, lack of humility, lack of emotion self regulation that are caused because of lack of empathy or low level of empathy. So we created the main of the project: to equip youth workers and youth leader with certain skills, competences, tools knowledge, attitudes and methods to work with young people and support them in the changing world and daily challenges of life.
Objectives of the project
to exchange knowledge, skills, competences, attitudes to increase the empathy in young people;
to prepare/test tools, methods for youth workers to support them in leading youth for a change
to teach youth workers, partner organisations and young people about empathy;
to increase the awareness on importance of building empathy in youngsters;
to develop competences of youth workers and youth leaders in facilitating workshops on empathy for youth;
to activate youth workers and youth leaders on local and national level
to build up long-term partnerships between participants and participating organisations
to stimulate the capacity of participating organisations on local, national and international level
to promote Erasmus Plus Programme and European Union values on local, national and international level
